Citroёn unveils new generation C5 Aircross crossover

Design and Exterior

The new C5 Aircross has received the usual thin LED "lines" instead of classic headlights at the front and rear, and the strict edges of the body emphasize the massive, but at the same time streamlined silhouette. The central element of the cabin is the vertical "waterfall" touchscreen with a diagonal of 13 inches - the largest on the Stellantis platforms. The driver's area is complemented by a 10-inch digital instrument cluster, while ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof and wireless charging create the feeling of a "digital cocoon". Technical data and powertrains

The car is built on the STLA Medium modular platform, which supports different types of drive:

• Base mild hybrid (MHEV): 1.2-liter gasoline engine + electric motor, total 148 hp.
• Plug-in hybrid (PHEV): 1.6-liter turbocharged petrol engine + electric motor, total output of 195 hp, electric range up to 85 km.
• Purely electric (BEV): two versions - 210 hp (up to 520 km WLTP) and 230 hp (up to 680 km WLTP).

When and where

Sales of the new C5 Aircross will start in the second half of 2025 in the main European countries; exact prices will be announced closer to the start of sales.
