Nvidia reveals DLSS 4's potential in Mecha BREAK, Diablo IV and other projects

Nvidia has announced a major expansion of support for DLSS 4 technology - it is now available in several major releases. The updated version of upscaling with support for Multi Frame Generation promises a significant increase in frame rate while maintaining high image quality.

Since the release, Mecha BREAK has received full DLSS 4 integration, and Nvidia claims up to 4.6x performance gains at 4K resolution on RTX 50 series graphics cards. This upgrade is especially important for shooters and action games where every millisecond of response counts.

One of the most impressive results DLSS 4 demonstrates in Diablo IV:

In the ninth season of Sins of the Horadrim, when running on RTX 5090, the game achieved over 370 fps in 4K - a 6.5x acceleration over conventional graphics.

Performance comparison with DLSS 4:

GameBaseline performanceWith DLSS 4 (RTX 50 series)Gain
Mecha BREAK\~80 fps\~368 fps~4.6×
Diablo IV (S9, RTX 5090)\~57 fps370+ fps\~6.5×
Still Wakes the Deep\~60 fps ~240 fps~4×
NTE (beta, July 3)no datano support for all RTX features

DLSS 4 support has also been added to Still Wakes the Deep: Siren's Rest, a game that previously used DLSS 3. The new version improves both overall picture quality and frame rate stability by utilizing Multi Frame Generation.

Among the nearest new releases is MMORPG NTE (Neverness to Everness), the closed beta of which will start on July 3. The project will support DLSS 4 and a full set of RTX-technologies, including Reflex and ray tracing.

According to Nvidia, RTX technologies are already in use in more than 800 games and applications. The list continues to expand weekly, and with the arrival of DLSS 4, developers have another powerful tool to improve performance on the latest GPUs.
