Playground Games has officially announced Forza Horizon 6, the next installment in the popular racing series. The presentation took place at Tokyo Game Show 2025. The developers revealed that the game will be set in Japan, a country that fans have long requested to be brought into the setting.

The developers emphasized that the game's map reflects the peculiarities of Japan as much as possible:

In honor of the announcement, only one CGI trailer was shown, which contains many references to previous installments of the Forza Horizon series. The developers promise to reveal more details about gameplay and innovations in the coming months.
