Xiaomi unveiled the Smart Door Lock 4 Pro with 12 ways to unlock it

Xiaomi has expanded its smart lock lineup with the launch of the Smart Door Lock 4 Pro, the company's most technologically advanced model. The device offers up to 12 unlocking options, including several biometric methods:

* 3D facial recognition with 99.999% accuracy

* Palm vein recognition

* Permanent and one-time passwords

* Bluetooth unlock via app

* Mechanical key

* Automatic unlocking when the owner's device is close to the door

Smart Camera and Protection

The lock is equipped with a 2MP camera with a 152° viewing angle and night vision function, as well as a millimeter range radar. This system automatically detects motion at the door, records video and sends notifications to the owner's smartphone.

When a call is made, the screen on the inside of the lock automatically turns on. In case of multiple unsuccessful break-in attempts, Smart Door Lock 4 Pro notifies the owner.

Long autonomy

The device uses combined power supply: built-in 5000 mAh battery provides about 4 months of autonomous work, and after its discharge four alkaline batteries are connected, which are enough for another six months. The lock alerts the user when the charge drops below 5%. Charging is done through the USB-C port.
