Sharp has officially unveiled the Aquos R10, the successor to last year's Aquos R9. The new device retains the design and concept of its predecessor, but offers a number of notable improvements: a brighter display, high-quality stereo speakers and a flagship camera from Leica.
Updated display and sound
One of the key changes is the 6.5-inch Pro IGZO OLED display with adaptive refresh rate from 1 to 120Hz and BFI support. The screen brightness has been increased to 1500 nits, making it comfortable even in bright sunlight.
Sound has also been upgraded, with Aquos R10 featuring better stereo speakers that deliver surround sound and clarity.
Leica camera and flagship performance
The smartphone features a triple camera developed in partnership with Leica. The 50MP main module has Leica Hektor light-aperture optics and supports Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). The optional wide-angle module is also 50MP, and the front camera has a similar resolution of 50MP. All of this makes the Aquos R10 a powerful tool for mobile shooting.
